Cake Smash & Splash 3 stage Photoshoots
£20 Cake Smash & Splash sessions including cake & 1 Photo
Cake Smash & Splash Photoshoots are the perfect way to celebrate baby’s 1st Birthday with lots of fun, mess and giggles.
Sessions last about 1.5 hours and are held at our Culcheth Studio in Warrington. Scroll down for all the info, how to find us and to book your session.

What is a Cake Smash Photoshoot?
A cake smash photoshoot is a very popular fun way to document your little ones very first birthday.
Your child can enjoy getting messy and exploring textures when they are presented with their birthday cake.
The aim is to capture them having a whale of a time smashing into the cake and getting covered in icing and cake whilst snapping all their fun expressions.
In addition to Cake Smash photos we also provide a Bath time splash session which is their to let little one get cleaned up but also is a fantastic addition to the gallery with the photos of them splashing, having fun in the suds and interacting with the bubbles from the bubble machine.
Step 1 - Cute Shots
The First part of our sessions is about settling in little one so we recommend bringing along an outfit of your own for some “clean” shots where we will get some gorgeous classic shots with our “One” Props, balloons etc. If you would like a handful of shots with siblings and parents too we can do this at this stage.
Step 2 - Cake Smash!
Once little one is settling in we will get them into one of our cute “cake smash” outfits ready for the messy fun to start. We will move across onto a different set that will be set up in the colour theme of your choice which we will discuss before your shoot and we will capture all the fun from little one finding there way around their birthday cake right upto smashing it to pieces and getting all the fun reactions!
Step 3 - Splash Time!
Once we have no cake left to smash we will get a lovely warm bubbly bath full of suds ready for the Splash Session, little one can be stripped down and whilst supervised can have fun in the suds with the rubber ducky, bubble machine and giant bubble balloons. Little ones love playing in the water and getting clean whilst capturing some super cute shots!
Last Bit
Once your session is all done we will book you in for a date to pop back to the studio to come and see the photographs from the Cake Smash session.
If you are travelling far we can arrange a zoom viewing so don’t worry.
We will select all the best ones from the session and you can choose your favourite for FREE as a souvenir from the session.

Photos will be available the day of your viewing.

Sessions can be booked up-to 6 months in advance so don’t miss this amazing opportunity for your little one.
We recommend booking at least a week or 2 before babies birthday if you would like to ensure the photos are ready and with you in time for their birthday. If you need them quickly get in touch with us first before booking.
