How does a family Portrait session work?

Your Portrait photo session generally lasts about an hour on the day. We are a dab hand and styling and posing and we have learned over the years little ones generally have a shorter attention span so we dont keep you for an un-nessicarily long time.

Before we even start snapping or posing we will sit and have a cuppa with you to have a chat about what look and style we want from the shoot, whether its more fun and relaxed or posed and classic etc.

Once you have met your photographer and got ready your photographer will start to take you and your family through a series of shots and poses that suits your family. These will consist of group photos, individual photos and combinations.

We generally aim to photograph around 30 portraits of mixed poses and styles in the session.

Once your session is complete, we will book in a viewing session of the pictures at a later date. This is so you can relax after your experience and come back without the kids to sit relax and choose your images.

You will see your photographs all professionally retouched in a bespoke presentation in our viewing room and your own assistant will be on hand to help you choose and design your bundle.
